ADOPTED 07-14-12 – Nathan is by far one of the most beautiful German shepherd dogs that our rescue has appropriated, long flowing coat of red and black, perfect proportions, stately stride and confident demeanor.
This boywas appropriated from a drug training facility after his owner abandoned him at the facility; thankfully the facility was reputable and contacted our rescue. Nathan is male, about 10 months old, obviously pure bred, neutered and fully vetted. This dog is extremely intelligent, fiercely loyal, gentle to a fault, a lap dog want be, strong protective instinct but always under control, an absolute definition of the breed. Nathan must go to a home where someone is almost always there for him, he does not have separation anxiety, it is just that he is too smart to be restrained and he will go find his person. His devotion is the most spectacular that I have witnessed in a dog and it is by far a definition of positive not a negative. Nathan desires nothing in life but to serve his master faithfully, a task that he approaches with dedication and ultimate resolve.
BLACK AND RED LONG COAT***NEUTERED***FULLY VETTED***LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED***GREAT WITH PEOPLE, CHILDREN AND OTHER DOGS
Nathan is comfortable integrating with other dogs, though he prefers his person above all else. Leash, house and basic command training have been accomplished by Nathan with little effort or challenge. This dog is a very unique find and should be cherished by all for his true character and loving nature. Should your family be looking for a new family member that is extremely special and your household fits the criteria of Nathan’s needs, then I would recommend that you apply post haste, the Nathan’s of the world are few and far between.
