Questions about dogs
We update this site daily. Dogs who have been adopted have an AD designation in their name. If you don’t see AD and a date, the dog is available! Start your search HERE!
Complete the adoption application. This shows that you are really committed to the idea of adopting a rescue dog. You are under no obligation to adopt after filling out the form, but it allows us to begin the background work of checking your vet references and living situation to establish eligibility.
If you received an email confirmation from our site, then yes, we received your application. It usually arrives within 2 minutes of submitting your adoption application. If you do not see a confirmation email, check your SPAM folder. If you still do not see it, we probably did not receive your application. We contact all adoption applicants personally within 2 business days.

DISCLAIMER: THE BREED POSTED ON OUR DOGS' BIOGRAPHIES ARE OUR BEST GUESS BASED ON SEVERAL YEARS OF DOG RESCUE. ADOPTERS WHO NEED TO KNOW THE EXACT BREED OF A PARTICULAR DOG MUST HAVE THE DOG TESTED AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE.
On every dog page, we list as much information as we can ascertain about the dog based on his or her breed. If you want more information about the breed, check out the DogTime.com Dog Breed Information page which has a comprehensive listing of breeds, traits, and characteristics.
