ADOPTED 07-28-12 – Size, shape, personality, color are all factors in assessing the beauty of a German shepherd dog, most score well but few are perfect. Our new rescue Riggs is one of the latter, dark red and black in color, long flowing coat, crystal clear eyes, perfect head, nose and body, will top out at about 90 pounds and has a perfect gait. This young man (1-2 years) came to us after being abandoned due to a divorce (sic), he is from a very reputable kennel, has had his hips x-rayed and certified and is of course registered. Riggs has all of the positive characteristics of the breed, loyalty, intelligence, great personality, playful, loving, gentle and strong protective instinct. Like all German shepherds this guy loves his exercise, walking, running, playing ball and swimming (he thinks he is half fish), bottom line if it is fun and you are there he is happy.
DARK RED AND BLACK IN COLOR, LONG COAT***NEUTERED***FULLY VETTED***GREAT WITH PEOPLE***GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS***LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED
We took Riggs through our socialization and training program and he of course excelled, he is great with other dogs (single and in groups), loves everything human but is especially good with children. Riggs has successfully completed our training courses for leash, house and basic commands.
Riggs came to us with a female German shepherd to which he appears bonded, we will make all efforts to have these two adopted together.
