Our German shepherd rescue is proud to announce the availability, for adoption, a handsome young male affectionately known as Milo. This guy is snow white, 1 year old, 70 pounds, has great symmetry, perfect gait and the personality of a loving old soul. Our guy is extremely bright, very social, and very, laid back for a guy this age and is downright love sponge. We have found Milo to be very good with other dogs, children and adults, he just wants to be part of everything.

Our boy had all rights to be frustrated with people after his early treatment but thankfully he has chosen to embrace the good life and never look back. Milo has taken to his training very well with full comprehension and response to all of his commands and is very good on the leash. This guy really has few limitations, if any, on what he can accomplish through proper training and personal direction.

As Milo’s trainer to this point I have found him to be curious, happy, capable, engaging, playful and a real joy to be around. As you would expect Milo passed all of our socialization and training programs with ease and excellence. If you are looking for a great family dog that super fun to be around that is safe with everyone, that just adores quietly sleeping at your side and when needed has no qualms about being protective in a controlled manner, then you should really look into our boy. Milo is a no brainer!

Each stage of Puppy Growth and development is fascinating; by the time it reaches its first birthday a puppy is considered a mature, adult dog. Puppy Growth rate is fast compared to humans, just compare a puppy of 8 weeks to a baby of the same age.

One of the most common questions asked about a puppy’s growth and development rate refers to the eventual size of the puppy. How big will the puppy grow? How can you determine the adult size of a puppy? A young puppy is tiny and cute – everyone loves puppies! But will the puppy be suited to your environment? How much exercise will be required for a full grown dog? Will the puppy be a suitable pet for children? The breed of the puppy will determine the answers to these questions. A general response to the size and growth rate of a puppy and the adult size of a puppy is therefore not possible – it needs to be specific to the puppy’s breed.
