He is Hollywood handsome, unbelievably smart, charming as they come, super smart, in other words he is a German shepherd and he goes by the name of Max (30). Our boy is two years old, med long coat of classic color, will get to about 85-90 pounds and wedge his way into every part of your life.

Max is another of our rescues that has seen the bad side of life but has decided he with not let that define his future. Our work with this boy revealed very loving, very intelligent and very capable shepherd with few if any limitations. Max has the intellect to be trained to do almost anything, his limitations will only defined by the trainer’s ability.

This young man can fit in any situation, he is loving, happy, predictable and reads any situation well. As the trainer for this guy I can tell you the he has a very special intellect and a very capable ability to read situations. Of course Max knocked the socks off of our socialization and training programs, revealing high intellect, strong desire to train, strong desire to bond, strong situational awareness and a strong but in control protective instinct.

Our boy gets along well with other dogs, reads and gets along well with kids and adults, he basically a classic love sponge shepherd! A home with time to continue training and exercise, time to bond well, love to spare and a desire to give up your privacy for life, will be a great fit for our boy!

Puppy Behavior, Growth & Development

Each stage of Puppy Growth and development is fascinating; by the time it reaches its first birthday a puppy is considered a mature, adult dog. Puppy Growth rate is fast compared to humans, just compare a puppy of 8 weeks to a baby of the same age.

One of the most common questions asked about a puppy’s growth and development rate refers to the eventual size of the puppy. How big will the puppy grow? How can you determine the adult size of a puppy? A young puppy is tiny and cute – everyone loves puppies! But will the puppy be suited to your environment? How much exercise will be required for a full grown dog? Will the puppy be a suitable pet for children? The breed of the puppy will determine the answers to these questions. A general response to the size and growth rate of a puppy and the adult size of a puppy is therefore not possible – it needs to be specific to the puppy’s breed.
