ADOPTED ON 06-04-16 – We are so very proud to announce that Mr. AJ (a large 3-4 year old male German shepherd) is ready for adoption. This young man defines the heart and soul of animal rescue, an impossible journey that exemplifies courage, determination, forgiveness, god’s grace and a spirit that refused to quit. Our boy AJ came to us devoid of hair, infected with scabies, infected ears swollen shut, yeast infections in every skin wrinkle, malnourished, infested with almost every parasite known to exist in dogs, having never experienced love from a person and a beauty of character that said “give me a chance and I will thrive!”. Thankfully I have been blessed with the opportunity to experience this force of love and devotion named AJ , I am certain that he has taught me more about handling the journey of life than I was ever capable of teaching him.
CLASSIC BLACK AND TAN, MEDIUM COAT** NEUTERED**FULLY VETTED
WONDERFUL PERSONALITY**GREAT WITH EVERYTHING
LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED
AJ has this presence about him that just exudes love, happiness and kindness, while simultaneously projecting silly, mischievous, playful and funny actions. Obviously AJ passed all of our socialization and training programs (he has been with us long enough to qualify as an instructor!), revealing a strong aptitude to learn, a very high intelligence, deep character and a never quit attitude. This dog has never met a stranger and gets along well with other dogs. As an old soldier I feel qualified to state AJ has the true heart of a warrior. Anyone that is lucky enough to bring AJ into their world will be truly blessed in the sharing. One last thing, AJ stands for “absolute joy”!
