ADOPTED 02-04-12 – Our rescue recently received an owner turn in of a 6 month old, male, fully registered German shepherd dog. The puppy is absolutely breath taking with his beauty,grace, confidence and charm, a superior example of the breed. This guy goes by the handle, Xander, a name that truly reflects his comedic personality that is in total contrast with his exceptional intellect and his extreme depth of character. At his young age he has shown an exceptional ability to grasp and retain all aspects of his training while reflecting a maturity and ability to bond far beyond what would be normal for his age group.

Xander has worked and played well with all the other dogs in our facility, reelecting the ability to be both extremely gentle and appropriately strong. Children appear to be a strong point of Xander’s, he craves their attention and interaction, seeking them out at all times. This young man is accomplished on the leash and his basic commands, always attentive and responsive. To say that Xander would make and excellent addition to one’s home would almost be an understatement.
