ADOPTED 08-18-12 – Toto is a lovely 10 year old female golden retriever or golden mix. Rescue Dog Village Guardian, Inc. was asked to help find her a new home due to a change in her families living situation. Although Toto is 10 years old, she is a happy, healthy and active girl who followed me around with a wagging tail while she was being evaluated. She enjoyed being petted and was very welcoming to my 3 year old male golden. She requires medication for a minor thyroid problem that costs around .00 per month. She has no other known health issues, is current on her vaccinations and is a sweet and friendly girl. Toto lives happily in a home with another dog and has helped raise two kids. She is fully housetrained and can be totally trusted with the run of the house.
She took treats gently from my hand and didn’t seem concerned that my 3 year old male was right next to her at the time. She has been trained on an electric fence and loves to hang out at home and in the yard. Toto would do best in a home where her people are home more often than not. She enjoys her daily walks and likes to hang out in the yard and visit with neighbors as they walk by. She does well with other dogs but prefers the company of males and more submissive females. If you are looking for new best friend and loving companion Toto may be your girl. [hr]
