Our vet has recommended that all dogs under 6 months not to spay or neuter the pups because they are too young and their bodies are not fully developed. Adoption donation includes transport and all vaccinations, except for the Lyme—therefore, the dogs will not need to get any vaccinations for the first
Cassie and Tess are no longer bonded; that happens sometimes when dogs get to a new place. Cassie is available and Tess has an adoption pending. They are Parson Jack Russell pups that were found as little babies wandering around in the middle of a little country road in a very rural area near in Louisiana.
ADOPTED ON 06-12-20: Cassie and Tess are no longer bonded siblings; they are Parson Jack Russell pups that were found as little babies wandering around in the middle of a little country road in a very rural area near in Louisiana. A woman that was coming home from work, decided to take the back roads, came up on them. They were babies and not even old enough to have their vaccinations, which means that they were still depending on mom. They were about the age of a one or two year old human. It was obvious that they were thrown away like trash; they had been dumped and they didn’t have a clue of how to survive on their own. Naturally, being the kind hearted person she is… she scooped them sweet babies up; took them home and fed them.
VIDEO OF TESS AND CASSIE
Cassie and Tess’s rescuer, could not keep them, her big male dog was very protective of her, and therefore, she immediately called a partner of RDVG, hoping that she had a place for them. Her fear was that her dog may hurt them since he had never been around puppies. They were so hungry and covered in fleas. She knew that they would not last long in the wild, they were in terrible shape already. Here rescuer and RDVG’s partner bathed them, fed them good, gave them their first kiss and hug, started their worming’s and then contacted RDVG.
They stayed in the south till they had all their vaccination and are now in a foster home in Terryville CT and ready for a home. Their northern foster mom enjoys them and tells us with a loving voice that they are smart, partially housetrained and very cute. These female litter mates love the crate and sleep together at night.
If you’re looking for a pup that is easy going and loving dogs, then Cassie is right for you. She will make a good family dog, nothing is as better then curling up with this her at the end of the day. She would be great with older people or a family.
