ADOPTED ON 03-12-15 – Ms. Rosie has landed! This knockout gorgeous, diva of a German shepherd has decided to grace our rescue with her presence. Our girl is the reincarnation of “May West”, she flirts with abandon, she carries herself like a goddess, the male dogs are putty in her paws and her virtues (or lack thereof) are a sultry source of pride! Yeah, Ms. Rosie knows she is hot and she plays the role like a Cajun banjo.

Make no mistake our girl is just as capable manipulating people as she is other dogs, what MS Rosie wants, Ms. Rosie gets. With all kidding aside our girl is a true joy to have in our lives, she is always happy, always gentle, always kind and always ready to love. Of course Ms. Rosie passed all of our training and socialization modules, revealing a strong desire to learn, a strong desire to bond and a strong desire to please. I can say with all certainty that our girl Ms. Rosie will enrich any life!

Each stage of Puppy Growth and development is fascinating; by the time it reaches its first birthday a puppy is considered a mature, adult dog. Puppy Growth rate is fast compared to humans, just compare a puppy of 8 weeks to a baby of the same age.

One of the most common questions asked about a puppy’s growth and development rate refers to the eventual size of the puppy. How big will the puppy grow? How can you determine the adult size of a puppy? A young puppy is tiny and cute – everyone loves puppies! But will the puppy be suited to your environment? How much exercise will be required for a full grown dog? Will the puppy be a suitable pet for children? The breed of the puppy will determine the answers to these questions. A general response to the size and growth rate of a puppy and the adult size of a puppy is therefore not possible – it needs to be specific to the puppy’s breed.
