ADOPTED ON 01-21-17 – Our German shepherd rescue is extremely proud of our most recent graduate, a young lady (2 years old) by the name of Starla. This girl came to us in severely bad shape, starved, parasite infested, scared, hollow and beaten, but those eyes, those wonderful eyes. The life, the soul piercing, wonder in those eyes tell a story that refused to end in in tragedy that would only accept a beautiful set of chapters in this life. Starla obviously still needs to put on more weight since she is only 51 pounds when she should weigh 70-75 pounds.

Our girl is making great strides in developing a think full coat, a coat that will be a deep coal black. We are also extremely proud of the fact Starla has performed very well in all of our socialization and training programs, reflecting high intellect, poise, maturity, human desire and good skills with other dogs. This great girl will always have an extremely special place in all of our hearts, she taught us more about strength, bravery, forgiveness and determination than we could ever have gleaned on our own.
DISCLAIMER: THE BREED POSTED ON OUR DOGS’ BIOGRAPHIES ARE OUR BEST GUESS BASED ON SEVERAL YEARS OF DOG RESCUE. ADOPTERS WHO NEED TO KNOW THE EXACT BREED OF A PARTICULAR DOG MUST HAVE THE DOG TESTED AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE.
