ADOPTED ON 10-31-15 – Our new graduate “Prince” is the personification of poise, gentleness, love, character and grace, exactly what you desire in a 3 year old German shepherd. Our boy is passed all the trials of puppyhood and has the maturity of action that fits well in almost any home. Rest assured that Prince is everything a German shepherd should be, intelligent, strong, capable, high character, gentle, loyal, loving and protective.

Prince is what we call “a no brainer”, if it does not get along with this guy (people or dogs) it will not get along with anything. Though solid (70-80pounds) and strong, Prince is a true love sponge, doting on your every move, watching constantly with those adoring eyes and back flipping to score a belly rub. Our boy performed very well in our socialization and training programs, revealing high intelligence, high focus and a very strong drive to please. Prince is a beautiful classic black and tan but with a long silky coat, a great body build, great symmetry and a solid shepherd gait. If you are looking for the ultimate best friend, you have now found him!

Each stage of Puppy Growth and development is fascinating; by the time it reaches its first birthday a puppy is considered a mature, adult dog. Puppy Growth rate is fast compared to humans, just compare a puppy of 8 weeks to a baby of the same age.

One of the most common questions asked about a puppy’s growth and development rate refers to the eventual size of the puppy. How big will the puppy grow? How can you determine the adult size of a puppy? A young puppy is tiny and cute – everyone loves puppies! But will the puppy be suited to your environment? How much exercise will be required for a full grown dog? Will the puppy be a suitable pet for children? The breed of the puppy will determine the answers to these questions. A general response to the size and growth rate of a puppy and the adult size of a puppy is therefore not possible – it needs to be specific to the puppy’s breed.
