ADOPTED ON 12-03-16 – He is handsome, he is smart, he is a love sponge and this German shepherd goes by the name of Maxx!  Our boy is 12 months old, has a medium long white coat with a caramel saddle and has a frame that will probably carry close to 100 pounds when fully grown. Though Maxx is young he is not the typical puppy, he is mature, he is open and he is settled.

Though Maxx has all of the typical attributes of the German shepherd breed, such as character, strength, intelligence, devotion and protective instincts, we have also found that our boy is supremely affectionate, gentle and loving. Maxx performed very well in our training and socialization programs, reflecting a high degree of trainability, a deep commitment to people (especially children) and great social skills with other dogs. No one should apply for this boy if you are not ready to be adored, he is truly the positive definition of a Velcro dog!
