ADOPTED ON 12-18-16 – Our new ward “Lady” (3years old) is the absolute definition of the old conundrum of “who rescued who”. Lady is a beautiful classic black and tan German shepherd with great presence, unbelievable warmth and as is to be expected total devotion to her “family”. Our girl is a big girl but we believe she is a bit fluffy and as such have placed her on totally unappreciated diet. Lady’s story is journey love from both she and her owner, she stayed by his side and he gave her up to keep her from watching his deterioration from terminal cancer.

CLASSIC BLACK AND TAN COAT

GREAT WITH PEOPLE

SUPERIOR WITH CHILDREN

GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS

SPAYED, & FULLY VETTED

LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED

Early on we were very concerned that she would grieve herself to death but as is usual god intervened gave the loyal dog had a different mission, god gave her peace and she gave us hope and compassion for the future. To say that lady blew our socialization and training programs away would be a great understatement. “The lady” I think was born almost perfect and I can assure you that I, as a trainer, do not have the skills to improve on what is probably “perfection” in her case! Our girl is perfect with people, other dogs and in particular children. There is only one thing to say at this time, if you can’t love her unconditionally, please do not apply!

DISCLAIMER: THE BREED POSTED ON OUR DOGS’ BIOGRAPHIES ARE OUR BEST GUESS BASED ON SEVERAL YEARS OF DOG RESCUE. ADOPTERS WHO NEED TO KNOW THE EXACT BREED OF A PARTICULAR DOG MUST HAVE THE DOG TESTED AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE.
