ADOPTED ON 01-03-17 – From the perspective of our German shepherd rescue Mr. K.C. is the very definition of what we do. This young man (18 months) came to us as his last chance to survive, heart worms, broken hip, skin issues and malnourished but his will to survive was simply inspirational. We have worked very hard with K.C. but make no mistake he has worked even harder, forever endearing himself to all who have had the privilege of making his acquaintance. Today our boy is a growing 75 pounder, well socialized, with a zest for life and a total love of all things human (especially children).

As with all German shepherds, K.C. has a wonderful intellect, a calm and solid demeanor, a gentle soul and a strong but in control protective instinct. As one would expect our boy performed very well in all of our socialization and training programs, revealing strong desire to train, positive social skills with other dogs and a very strong intellect. This is a very special animal that needs a very special loving home!
