ADOPTED ON 01-10-15 – A lot of very pleasant things come to mind when you think of our boy Kansas (1 year old German shepherd), playful, happy, loving, impish, intelligent, people oriented and absolutely hansom. For those who may be reading all of our bio’s, I did not name two dogs after states at the same time, these dogs came that way! I digress, Kansas is a well-mannered, polite and sharing personality that is open to approach but with an air that lets others know things will be on his terms. Again, Kansas is the very definition of a German shepherd, extremely loyal, loving, very intelligent, strong presence, and strong character, friendly, capable and as always a strong but in control protective instinct.
SILVER SHEPHERD COAT***NEUTERED*** FULLY VETTED***GREAT WITH PEOPLE*** GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS***LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED
As with all 1-year-old German shepherds one must have the time, commitment and patience to give to the dog if excellence is desired. Our training and specialization programs have revealed that Kansas is very capable of adapting to almost any scenario but his desire to be with a family is most strong. As is with all of our wards Kansas is very comfortable on the leash is adept at his basic commands and possesses wonderful house manners. This guy does have a fondness for children that can only be described as beautiful, his early morning walks are carried out by a capable duo of 4 and 5 year old girls. Kansas also possesses the very unique trait of the silver shepherd coat, silky and flowing it is quite beautiful and memorable. If I were to characterize Kansas in one term it would be, love sponge.
