Our German shepherd rescue is pleased to present for adoption one of the sweetest young ladies that has ever entered our care and her name is appropriately “Joy’. This young lady had a rough start in life but has bounced back with gusto. It never ceases to amaze me that these precious animals can receive such atrocious treatment and still bounce back with such love and devotion. In Joy’s case she was bred too early and too often, luckily we got to her soon enough to save her and prevent long term damage.

This sweetheart is 3 years old, blk/tan coat, 65-70 pounds, slick coat, heart of an angle and as loving as they come. Our Joy gets along very well with other dogs, loves people, is great with kids and is smart as a whip. Ms. Joy is a no brainer, she has it all and would make a great addition to any loving family. Our girl handled our socialization and training programs very well, reflecting great learning skills, strong desire to bond, strong desire to train and strong but highly controlled protective instinct. Joy is as stated extremely bright and if you are not careful you will end wondering who is really running the training session. What will truly win you over with Joy is her very loving nature and her acceptance of good in all things. Joy has no faults and is highly capable of being trained to a very high level but overall, she is just a loving and wonderful soul! Joy will do well in an environment where her people are happy, loving, dedicated and available.’ forever home so that he can have a family to love and care for. The word perfect is used out of hand too often but in Milo’s case it is accurate and inclusive. The perfect home for our special guy would be a household that is home, has time to exercise, enjoys losing all concepts of privacy and loves without limits!

Each stage of Puppy Growth and development is fascinating; by the time it reaches its first birthday a puppy is considered a mature, adult dog. Puppy Growth rate is fast compared to humans, just compare a puppy of 8 weeks to a baby of the same age.

One of the most common questions asked about a puppy’s growth and development rate refers to the eventual size of the puppy. How big will the puppy grow? How can you determine the adult size of a puppy? A young puppy is tiny and cute – everyone loves puppies! But will the puppy be suited to your environment? How much exercise will be required for a full grown dog? Will the puppy be a suitable pet for children? The breed of the puppy will determine the answers to these questions. A general response to the size and growth rate of a puppy and the adult size of a puppy is therefore not possible – it needs to be specific to the puppy’s breed.
