ADOPTED 06-30-12 – Over the years I have worked with many good/great dogs, all left me with memories that I cherish, our new ward (Helmutt) being released for adoption at this time will definitely qualify as a memory maker. Helmut is probably the gentlest German shepherd I have encountered, though he is still a true German shepherd, incredibly smart, loyal to a fault, strong character, loving and a protective instinct that is always under control. How these wonderful animals manage to retain these characteristics after being so horribly treated is beyond my comprehension but I think it is a reflection of gods hand. Helmutt is truly an incredible dog, mature ( 4 years ) and predictable, he will wrap you up in his world immediately.

Helmutt is leash, house and basic command trained, he is also great with people and other dogs. Should you be looking for a new family member that is sure to fit right in with no problems, then you should move with speed, Helmutt will not last long.
