ADOPTED ON 04-25-15 – Ms. Gretchen defines German shepherd perfection, she is sleek, she is gorgeous, she is friendly, she is intelligent, she is gentle and she is registered! Our girl is going to be a big female when she fills out, probably somewhere between 85 and 90 pounds, a weight she would carry with absolute elegance. Ms. Gretchen is 3 years of age according to her papers, has a fabulous long black silky coat, and has a truly wonderful warm demeanor and a super zest for life. As you might have expected our lady breezed through our socialization and training programs with capability and confidence.

Working with a dog like Ms. Gretchen is a true joy from but the perspective of a trainer and a rescue, her success helps all involved to understand why we do what we do. We have found MS Gretchen to be great with all things human (especially children) and to be open, friendly and respectful of other dogs. Make no mistake with this girl she is everything a German shepherd is supposed to be including a strong presence and a strong but in control protective instinct. Ms. Gretchen is a no brainer when it comes to the selection of a dog, she will fit in anywhere she is loved, respected and allowed to be a true family member.
