ADOPTED ON 12-17-11 – Meet Miss Eva! She came into the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter in West Monroe, LA a stray. Despite being a volunteer favorite, Eva was not going to be put up for adoption…she is a black dog who was skinny and “plain”. In a crowded public pound, she had no chance! Thanks to a great relationship with PAWS of NE LA and Rescue Dog Village Guardian, Inc. of CT, Eva was pulled from the shelter and is now looking for a loving home up north. She is thriving in foster care and loves playing with other dogs and cuddling with her foster family.
She is a pro on leash (just check out her video) and is so very happy and loving! She would be a wonderful addition to any lucky family.

Eva is good with kids, cats and other dogs. Eva is approximately 2 years old and is a terrier mix. She weighed a scrawny 15.4# at her first vet appointment in late October and should be 22-25# at a healthy weight. Eva has a great appetite and is well on the way to filling out into a beautiful little dog. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm/flea prevention. Eva is potty and crate trained and is an all around GREAT dog! She is a pro on leash (just check out her video) and is so very happy and loving! She would be a wonderful addition to any lucky family.
