ADOPTED ON 06-16-16 – The name is “Champ” and the name fits perfectly. Our boy is a 2 year old German shepherd, that will top out in the 100 pound range and he sports a dynamite “silver sable coat. Though Champ had a horrible start in life he has moved on and embraced life with strength, dedication and love. Of course this guy possesses all of the usual German shepherd traits of loyalty, character, and superior intellect, and gentleness, strong desire to love and as always a strong protective instinct that is well controlled.
SILVER SABLE COAT***NEUTERED***FULLY VETTED***GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS
GREAT WITH PEOPLE***OVERALL GREAT PERSONALITY
LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED
hamp has successfully completed all of our socialization and training programs revealing a high aptitude for training, deep focus and a great personality. Using my terms, this young man carries the heart of a warrior – that something that allows love, compassion, fearlessness and dedication to exist in a single entity. As a trainer I have been amazed at the pure unfaltering will of this dog, he just lets you know that he is going to rise to the occasion and that he will never quit. Champ does very well with other dogs, open and approachable but with a presence that telegraphs his limits. When it comes to people our boy is friendly and open but make no mistake he is reading you like a book. For Champ to be happy he will need a home where the family fully understands unconditional love, common respect and mutual fairness
