ADOPTED ON 02-18-17 – We meet great dogs through our rescue endeavors but one seldom meets a dog that defines god’s very definition of “good”, in this case the truly spectacular German shepherd male named “Bruno”! You see Bruno has the ubiquitous distinction of being the most abused dog that we have been able to save, all this in a very short life of 6-8 months of age. Through the combined will of our rescue personnel, Bruno himself and the pure grace of god our boy has not only survived but flourished into the most loving and kind puppy that I have had the privilege to encounter. As both human beings and rescue workers, we all feel that we are much better for having known this very special soul.

Bruno is now a full battle rattle, healthy and energetic classic German shepherd puppy with one exception, he is mature beyond his age and loves with the intensity that can only come from having seen the dark side of life but embraced the good that abounds. Bruno is about 50 pounds (up 15 since arrival), carries a beautiful classic black and tan coat that is lusher daily. Obviously we had to take our time with Mr. Bruno but he performed quite well in all of his socialization and training programs, revealing solid social skills with other dogs, strong drive for human contact, strong intellect and a very solid and calm demeanor. Bruno is also the favorite of our “senior trainer”, seven year old Ms. Anne! The attached photos of Bruno are incoming pictures and they will be updated as his appearance improves.
