BEAR#3 AD 05-25-13

Bear has showed us that he is a very personable, loving, affectionate pup. He is always the first to greet people and is described by those that meet him as a character.  If you are not paying him the attention, he will paw at you or tug at your clothes to get your attention. He wants to be where you are. He loves his belly to be scratched and he is quite fearless. He will settle down when he is asked to lay next to you.

Bear has a moderate to high energy level which is normal for a young puppy and his size. He loves other dogs and is great with is other 8 siblings. Good with children, no food issues, rides well in a crate in a car, has no fears and does ok in a crate when asked, he wants to please those who he meets.

Bear loves attention and would love to have a human spend time with him and play with him. He is a precious, cuddly, fluffy, and is one of the prettiest puppies. He is also very sweet, and smart. He loves to play and loves to give love and affection. Bear will be a good size dog, just look at his paws. He is the best of both breeds, laid back and easy going and will be a devoted family member.

Bear’s will do well in a home where he can get plenty of exercise, someone that is a runner or hikes and is outside a lot. A fenced in yard is good but not necessary as long as he gets his daily exercise, of course, children will keep him busy and help meet those needs. Bear is just a wonderful guy. He has a very trustworthy temperament and bonds well with everyone and enjoy company due to his very sociable and kind natured.  We have seen that he is very dedicated and devoted to humans by showing them plenty of affection and love.  Get your application in, guys like this don’t come along too often.

Sponsored Dogs – They Need Your Help!

RDVG wants to provide you with as much information as we can because some of our mix breeds you might not be familiar with. The below section on “About the Breed” offers information on some of the Breed Characteristics, Children & Pets, Behavior and Personality, Temperament and more.

It is important to point out that in addition to the breed, there is an enormous variety in the way a dog acts and reacts to the world around him. In the end, your dog’s preferences and personality are as individual as you are–and if you can accept that– then you’re bound to enjoy each other.

Children & Pets

Animal Behavior Guidelines

Many children, especially very young ones, do not realize that pets are living animals and not toys. Failing to teach a child how to handle pets properly can result in suffering on the part of the pet and, in some cases, injury to the child. Taking introductions slowly will allow you to introduce family dogs and your children safely

Puppy Behavior, Growth & Development

Each stage of Puppy Growth and development is fascinating; by the time it reaches its first birthday a puppy is considered a mature, adult dog. Puppy Growth rate is fast compared to humans, just compare a puppy of 8 weeks to a baby of the same age.

One of the most common questions asked about a puppy’s growth and development rate refers to the eventual size of the puppy. How big will the puppy grow? How can you determine the adult size of a puppy? A young puppy is tiny and cute – everyone loves puppies! But will the puppy be suited to your environment? How much exercise will be required for a full grown dog? Will the puppy be a suitable pet for children? The breed of the puppy will determine the answers to these questions. A general response to the size and growth rate of a puppy and the adult size of a puppy is therefore not possible – it needs to be specific to the puppy’s breed.
