ADOPTED ON 09-10-22 Our German shepherd rescue is proud to announce for adoption a very special 1.5-year-old, male, shepherd that goes by the name atlas. Our boy is a happy go lucky character, full of life, curiosity, drive and human desire. This young man had a very rough start in life but as is the “shepherd” way he has decided that all that is history and that future is his to define. Spend any time with Atlas and you with feel his strength of character, sense of duty, openness and right off the bat his intelligence. Atlas has never met a stranger, dog or human, that he did not like but his love of kids is in a level all it’s on. Due to his past life our boy will never be very large, 70-75 pounds, but what he lacks it size he more than makes up with intelligence, bonded commitment and ability. Our boy is what could be termed a “shadow dog”, where you go, he goes, what you do he does, whether jogging or peacefully resting by the fire, he will be there with you.

Atlas loves to play, exercise, and train but above all else handle life at your side. Of course, Atlas performed well in all of our socialization and training programs, revealing a strong desire to bond, strong desire to train, very high intelligence, loving nature and a predictable, solid personality. Our body has been a real blessing to train, always revealing a depth of character that is quite unique and inspiring. If you are looking for a true friend, companion and new family member then Atlas would be a great choice since he will refuse to accept anything else.
