ADOPTED ON 01-21-17 – There is little say when you rescue an absolutely perfect definition of the German shepherd breed, such is the case with our new boy Mr. Hunter. He is 18 months of wide open energy, total exhaustion, supreme intellect, incredibly goofy, unabashed love, fully irritating, graceful as a gazelle, clumsy as they come, German shepherd puppy! After much negotiation Mr. Hunter has decided that I am in charge “most” of the time, that leash walks are not an aerobic exercise and that commands are to be understood and occasionally actually followed!

Hunter is now 75 pounds going on something north of 100 pounds, has wonderful slick coat of black with hazel socks and unique for his age the classic “shepherd” gait of a champion. All kidding aside, our boy, performed extremely well in all of his socialization and training programs revealing a strong desire to train, great ball drive, good social skills with other dogs (though he does love to aggravate) and a very good human need. Nothing more to say, he is the man!
