KEVIN AD 03-22-14

ADOPTED 03-22-14 – Our rescue is always pleased to announce the availability of wards upon their completion of our health, socializationand training programs but watching our boy Kevin not only overcome but excel has been a thing of pure beauty and ultimate joy. Kevin is a male German shepherd, 2-3 years of age, classic sable that should top out at about 80-85 pounds (65-70 presently). Our boy came to us emaciated, parasitic, open wounds but totally open to people, almost as though he was showing his strength of character by defying his past. From day one of his rescue Kevin has embraced his health regime, his socialization programs and his classic training models with a commitment that I have rarely experienced.

SABLE COAT***NEUTERED***FULLY VETTED***GREAT WITH PEOPLE
GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS***LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED

Though our boy has had every reason one could imagine to be withdrawn and unhappy, Kevin has instead amazed everyone with his beautiful soul and ultimate grasp of “happy”. Obviously Kevin gets along well with everyone, be they humane or canine but make no mistake this guy possesses the German shepherd protective instinct that is always under control but quite capable. Along with all of these other wonderful attributes , Kevin is extremely intelligent, playfully goofy, intimately gentle, rough as the situation demands, loving without bounds and will always be there for you. If I were still a young soldier and Kevin were both human and a soldier I am sure that we would be best friends under any extreme.
