ADOPTED ON 03-26-15 – Every once in a while our rescue gets at chance at working with a dog, that though injured, is still the definition of luck. Our new ward Murphy is just such a case, he was caught in a steel trap, had severe lacerations, was dumped at a shelter and was about to lose his leg. Then all of a sudden his foot started receiving blood, the x-rays revealed miraculously that he had no broken bones that he would not lose his foot and he landed in our hands. I said he had the luck of the Irish and thus his name Murphy.
