ADOPTED 08-24-13 – Every once in a while you run across a person or animal that mesmerizes you with their bravery and strength of character. Our recent rescue is one of these cases, a German shepherd named ISSAC, a class act if ever there was one. ISSAC came to us in absolutely dismal condition, malnourished, skin lesions, emotionally broken and to add insult to injury the poor guys ears and tongue had been notched. ISSAC is now healthy with a gorgeous black/tan/red coat, a fully developed body and an absolute love for all things human. Watching this 2 year old come from where he was to where he is now has been a joyous and blessed journey that revealed his bravery, strength of character and an ability to forgive that can only come from god. Watching ISSAC not only recover but embrace life is an experience that all should have the chance to observe.
BLACK/TAN/RED COAT***NEUTERED ***FULLY VETTED*** GREAT WITH PEOPLE*** GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS ***LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED
ISSAC has passed all of our training and socialization programs with complete competency. He has been able to interact well with all of our other dogs without a hint of aggression. This boy has also shown a true affinity for people of all sizes, shapes and sex. Part of our program includes training on the leash, house manners and basic command capability, all of which ISSAC has excelled. ISSAC can best be described as a Velcro dog wanting nothing out of life except to be with his person. If this wonderful creature has an issue it would be an amplification to the desire to be with you, early on you will need to be with him almost constantly until he is sure he is home. While ISSAC has been at his foster’s home he is perfectly comfortable as long as other dogs or people are present. This dogs devotion will definitely outweigh any issues that a new owner might encounter.
