Our vet has recommended that all dogs under 6 months not to spay or neuter the pups because they are too young and their bodies are not fully developed. Adoption donation includes transport and all vaccinations, except for the Lyme—therefore, the dogs will not need to get any vaccinations for the first year.
ADOPTED ON 12-27-20 Chuck was rescued in Texas where there is an army of rescue citizen soldiers with pure hearts that ache at seeing the remarkable dogs that need help. They rescue the dogs and in many cases, sparing no expense and doing without, He was one of those luck dogs.
Chuck is just a happy go lucky boy. He comes into a room like “Good morning world, I am here”. He prances around lightly on his feet. I believe if Mr. Rogers was still on TV that this would be his dog. He greets everyone and loves to be loved. He would do well in any home. He would love playing dress up with a child. He is housetrained and does well in a crate and on a leash. I cannot say enough about this boy, he is perfect.
Chuck is absolutely sweeter than sugar and intent on playing with the other dogs until he tires himself out. Then he lounges lazily and does what goods dogs do best: sleep hard. It’s the reward after playing hard, after all. After a solid dozing and revitalization period, he is then ready for whatever adventure you put before his. Always ready to follow another dog or person.
Chuck is willing and eager to please and learn. He would be a great companion for a family looking for a young dog that will be an awesome adult dog. If you are looking for a dog that you would like to take with you and be with all day, he will likely be a great match for you. He loves people and other dogs. His foster mom said that he is a “Character” which is the best description of his personality; we are happy to have him in our care and are looking for someone who has a lot of time and attention to give to him because he deserves nothing less.
Chuck is ready to slide right into your heart, do you have the requirements of a forever home of his own and endless love to celebrate his special qualities? Now all he needs is many years where he can continue to be a happy and loyal member of a family. Will you open your heart to her and give him the love he so deserves?
