ADOPTED 02-02-13 – Our rescue is proud to announce the graduation of one very special Dutch shepherd by the name of beau. This young man has successfully completed all of our socialization and training programs, in most cases as the class leader. Beau is a beautiful brindle color, weighs in at 70-75 pounds, is 3 years of age and has moved quite well with his life after being abandoned. Our boy is great with people of all ages and sizes, in small or large groups but is particularly adept at attending to the needs of children, a task that he adores. To my knowledge beau has never met a dog that he could not find a way to get-a-long, he plays and socializes well but he will not be dominated, he is too much of a man for such acts. Beau possesses a strong but very much in control protective instinct, he is always acutely aware of his surroundings, especially in relation to “his” people. The only thing that beau enjoys more than children and his ball is the time he spends with his people being petted fawned over and showered with love.
